Dr. Bridget McMahon

Grew up in Maryland and Virginia. Received her biology degree in 1989 from Shepherd College, West Virginia. Earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 1994 from VMRCVM, Virginia with a special interest in avian and exotic pets. She joined the practice in 1994 and purchased it in 2000.

Susan is a veterinary assistant at Kutztown Animal Hosp. Cats are her passion, but she loves all animals. At home she is a wife, mother of two terrific, grown daughters, one fabulous granddaughter and nine wonderful kitties. Friends and family think she is crazy.

Started in dogs as a child. Trained her first dog, a poodle, at 14 years old and has progressed to training and showing dogs in obedience, hunt tests and the breed ring. For the past 25 years, she has been breeding vizslas. Her dogs have earned many awards at both local, regional and national shows. Joined the staff in 1998 and has progressed to her current position as Office Manager.

Reading, tennis, water sports, going to the beach and watching baseball are the things she enjoys for "quiet time".
